Our commitment to "Going Green" was born during the 2008-2009 season. In continuance of this commitment, we adopted a section of College Boulevard between Lone Elm Road and K-7 Highway in Olathe, Kansas. Adopting a street consists of maintaining the overall wellbeing of the street but does more by contributing to the city's image. The team members often go out to clean the street and make sure everything is in a pristine condition. Along with helping the community, cleaning up the street also becomes a great team building excercise. Enjoying ourselves while cleaning up the street, Adopt-A-Street has allowed Team 1710 to grow and give back to the community.
