Team 1710 Vex Summer Camp
Vex Challenge In an effort to reach out to younger minds in the school district, we launched our first annual Vex Challenge in November 2009. The Vex Challenge is essentially a robotics clinic for students currently in 5th-9th grades. Participants are separated into teams and are given a game, then set off for a few hours to design, build, and program a Vex Robot that will compete against the other teams. Our team members mentor the students and help them through the process as they stretch whatever they imagine and are exposed to the possibilities of a future in engineering.
