Team 1710 has encountered an alien race named the iiko who are unaware how they are destroying their planet. They love technology, but don?t know how to utilize it. We decided to teach them the engineering design process, which involves brainstorming ideas, setting deadlines, and keeping it simple. With this process they can see their own problems and engineer ways to fix them. The iiko responded well to the lessons and before we leave they engineered their own water purification system. Iiko we very interested and ask a lot of question and were intuitive. They were very thankful that now they can improve their living conditions and don?t have to rely on anyone but themselves.
