You Go Girl Newsletter Winter 2016

YouGoGirl! Newsletter

To increase the influence of the YouGoGirl! program, we will be starting a quarterly YGG Newsletter, with the first edition coming out this week before the International Competition. Each newsletter will feature updates on the YouGoGirl! program, highlights from a FIRST Robotics team member, mentor, alumni, or other team, and a Question and Answer section. This is a work-in-progress, and the layout of the newsletter may change as time goes on to adapt to new ideas.

YouGoGirl! Presentation

On Friday, April 24, 2015 at 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Team 1710 will be presenting the YouGoGirl! program at the international FIRST Robotics Championship Competition. The goal of the presentation is to publicize the process the team has taken to build the successful program we know today so other teams can emulate our initiative. This presentation will include the long-term benefits of starting such a program. Many members of the team will be presenting at this conference, along with Mrs. Rippe, one of the founders of our team and the founder of YouGoGirl!, and Mrs. Wingfield, one of our coaches. This presentation will be at the Cervantes Convention Center in room 230 and it is open to the public.
